John's Story
The road traveled
John grew up in California and attended Pepperdine University, where he majored in business and minored in art. He was commissioned by the founder's wife to do a portrait of George Pepperdine, which hung at the university for many years.
​
He and his wife Carol later moved to Chicago, where they spent many years raising a BIG family including thirteen children. Over the years John continued to paint both professionally and privately, decorating the walls of his family home with enchanting portraits.
​
Now retired and living in Baltimore, John has more time to devote to his lifelong passion as well as doting on the family cat, and his many grandchildren. His work has been seen in galleries in the Baltimore area.
